Fakir Bazar Collegiate School Celebrates Success and Annual Festival

Fakir Bazar Collegiate School and Fakir Bazar Junior College came alive with a festive spirit during their three-day annual sports and cultural program. The event not only showcased the talents of the students but also served as a platform to celebrate the remarkable success of the school's secondary school graduates. The school authorities and students were filled with joy and pride as they recognized the achievements of their students.

The program, held on Monday and Tuesday, captivated everyone with a diverse range of activities including sports competitions, dance performances, music recitals, ghazals, and educational plays. The students left no stone unturned to entertain the audience and exhibit their skills and creativity. The closing ceremony took place on Wednesday, where Principal Ruhul Quddus addressed the gathering and expressed his gratitude for the students' outstanding performances.

During the ceremony, school president Iqbal Hussain honored Parveen Khan, who was in charge of the Fakir Bazar Students Union, and awarded ten students who excelled in this year's secondary examination. The felicitation ceremony was accompanied by captivating musical performances by the students, while the school girls delivered inspiring speeches.

Principal Ruhul Quddus delivered a warm welcome speech, expressing his appreciation for the guests who attended the event. However, he also expressed his concern about the encroachment on the educational system by external coaching centers. He emphasized the importance of schools in shaping students' lives and questioned the credibility of coaching centers that claim credit for students' success without acknowledging the efforts of the school and its teachers.

Quddus condemned such coaching centers and tuition teachers, urging them to prioritize education over profit-making. He questioned the ability of these coaching centers to take a student from their first primary school to the secondary examination without the support of government or private educational institutions. Quddus' passionate plea resonated with the audience, highlighting the significance of providing quality education within the school system.

In recognition of the students' achievements, ten successful candidates were honored with Assamese towels, certificates, and various gifts. The invited guests and teachers of the school joined hands in congratulating the students for their hard work and dedication.

The three-day annual festival at Fakir Bazar Collegiate School not only celebrated the accomplishments of its students but also served as a reminder of the importance of providing a nurturing and supportive educational environment. It was a testament to the school's commitment to shaping well-rounded individuals who excel in both academics and extracurricular activities.

As the festivities came to an end, the Fakir Bazar Collegiate School and Junior College community stood united in their dedication to fostering a culture of learning and achievement. Their commitment to providing quality education and celebrating student success will continue to inspire generations to come.
